Our annual winter event. Otterdazzle includes a pancake breakfast, vendors, 5k and kids run, SANTAS VISIT, hay rack rides, bucket raffles, Christmas tree lighting in the city park, fireworks and chili feed. This all day event held at the Ottertail Community Center features a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. It starts at 7am with the Lions’ famous pancake and sausage feed. There will be vendors in the fire hall. The United Methodist church will having a huge bake sale, these ladies are great bakers so items sell out quickly. Also bring the kids early to do crafts and ride along with them on the hay ride. Everyone loves Christmas cookies so come and decorate your own! (Cookies and decorations donated by the Ottertail Bakery). Hot dogs, chips and other food items will be available all afternoon. A new event is “Freezin’ for a Reason” 5k and kids run. The afternoon ends at the city park where 20 trees will be lite by Mayor Myron Lueders at 5:15 followed by a fantastic fireworks display sponsored by the Ottertail Lions Club. The day ends with a Chili bar complements of the Ottertail Business and Community Association! Click here for event times and more information on the 5k run.
